Artists Chosen for 2024 Festival

Did you know that Fringe festival artists are all chosen by lottery? From San Francisco to Charlottetown, that’s true across North America – and for the Nogojiwanong Indigenous Fringe Festival in Peterborough too!

The NIFF team was thrilled to pull six live performance companies and a film from this year’s hat, with both local and national artists represented. Each company will have multiple performances between June 21 and June 23 on the East Bank of the Trent University campus.

This year’s artists are:

Theatre

Juicebox (Winnipeg)

Centre for Indigenous Theatre (Toronto)

Josh Languedoc (Edmonton)

Puppetry

John-Paul Chalykoff

(Sault Ste. Marie)

Drag

Indigiqueenart (Nogojiwanong)

Music

Mama D (Toronto)

Film

Wshkiigmong Dibaajmownan

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
