Potential outdoor sites
We still don't know what live performance will look like come the summer. Erring on the side of caution, NIFF is planning for a fully outdoor festival and this page offer some ideas for potential sites on the East Bank of the Trent University campus. The photos are meant to give you a sense of where works might be performed. If you are accepted into the festival, we will work with you to provide more detail about the sites.
More photos will be uploaded as they become available
Fire pit
Located just outside the doors to Nozhem: First Peoples Performance Space, the fire pit offers a (safely socially distanced) intimate space for smaller audiences. And yes, you can have a fire!

The funky tree
It's not every venue that boasts a funky tree to play in! Located next to the fire pit, it is available for whatever you can imagine.

Gzowski courtyard
This a large open space that has a valley running through the middle. Perfect for theatre in the rectangle! The stairs in the far distance are also available to be used.

The gardens
This is a lovely area with an open space in the centre and some lamppost lighting in the evening. There is space within the gardens for audience and for performance.
