Potential Outdoor Sites

NIFF is planning for one indoor theatre space option (Nozhem: First Peoples Performance Space) and most of the other festival sites will be outdoors. This page shows the outdoor site options on the East Bank of the Trent University campus. The photos are meant to give you a sense of where works will be performed. If you are accepted into the festival, we will work with you to provide more detail about the sites.

More photos will be uploaded as they become available
Stone Circle
Located just outside the doors to Nozhem: First Peoples Performance Space, the fire pit offers an intimate space for smaller audiences. And yes, you can have a fire!
Gzowski Stairs
This a large open space that has a valley running through the middle. Perfect for theatre in the rectangle! The stairs in the far distance are also available to be used.
Warren Garden
This is a lovely area with an open space in the centre and some lamppost lighting in the evening. There is space within the gardens for audience and for performance.
